Abstract

Back	Producing resources and materials for the in-service training of physics teachers.

	GIREP Seminar 2003	One of the urgent problems posed by the school reform in Italy is the in-service updating of teachers. In a collaboration with the Scientific Associations AIF, SIF and SAIt, the General Division for the Formation and the Updating of the School Personnel of the Ministry of Education (MIUR) organized the production of didactic multimedial materials that will be intended for use in the training of physics teachers. The first lot of materials was designed during two stages that, on request of MIUR, were organized in Viareggio by the staff of the Scientific Lyceum "A.Vallisneri" of Lucca. The phase of production, completed before the summer 2003, will be followed shortly after by validation meetings with the teachers of some Regions, after which the materials will be put on the net and will be available to the regional school authorities and to the single teachers.
