One of the fundamental difficulties in the teaching of the learning process of physics is based on the consolidation, in the students' mind, of the physical structure of the world that surrounds them, that inevitably passes through a Physical Model's concept. One of the biggest difficulties resides on the development of abilities to model a certain phenomenon or event of the nature on the part of the students; this is mainly due to because in the process of teaching of the physics the use of one or another model doesn't generally arise as the historical-natural process of discarding or proving a model and its narrow relationship with the experimental phenomena that wants to be described, but rather with the aim of diminishing the time of teaching or due to the predetermined and obvious concept for the professor but not for the students then a certain model is applied for the explanation of a physical phenomenon without finding which is the right or not as well as the most appropriate, that contribute to achieve the own model of understanding and much less the students' determination of the properties that should be completed and their limits of validity. Although there is a great amount of software that are used in the teaching of physics, most of them do not comprise the aim to the develop the students' abilities to model a determined physical phenomenon so, those softwares are thought to be as " black boxes " which could be given input data and at the same time, could receive output data, but the students are not allowed to know what is in the box as such. In this paper work, it is shown a methodology for using computing in the transmission line and in other topics of the physics It is given to the students a prepared software which let them to solve the same line but inserting different models at the same time and it let them their comparison as well as the analysis of the obtained results, and giving understanding on the limits of validity of such models, and later on it lets also the development of new softwares according to the points of the professor. In this work, two softwares are shown used as samples by the professor. This new methodology has been used and applied for two term courses. It has been positivelly assessed by the students and professors. |
