In the last ten years in Romania the initial training of physics teachers was marked by numerous hesitations in curriculum development. The numbers of hours allocated to the special didactic were varied every year. Modifications were made also in ratio lectures/seminar hours. The time for seminar activities was reduced to half and the time allocated to the pedagogical practice was slowly diminished. These changes conduct to the alteration of the Physics student image on Didactics of Physics and his role in the initial training.
The paper analyses the attitude of the students and present few tentative to modify the curriculum to respond to new challenge in Physics Education.
